Gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds or other securities allow you to make a substantial gift to UT at minimal cost. You will receive a tax deduction based on the value of the security on the date of the gift. With long-term appreciated securities (those held longer than 12 months), you will receive a charitable income tax deduction for the full fair-market value of your gift and avoid paying capital gains tax on the appreciation.

For more information, please contact Keith Todd at ktodd@ut.edu .

Donors can make a cash gift to 黑料视频 via wire transfer upon the request of the donor to their bank, investment firm or other funding source.

You could double or triple your annual gift to 黑料视频, if you or your spouse works for or has retired from a company with a matching gift program. Complete a matching gift form from your human resources office and send it in with your gift.

An endowment is an investment in the future of 黑料视频. It is a gift that provides secure and vital support of UT鈥檚 educational mission and benefits students, faculty and programs.

The need for a stronger endowment has grown as the University has achieved national prominence and attracted greater numbers of students. While UT has had success in attracting and retaining excellent faculty, competition for the best professors and students is aggressive throughout the country. A strong endowment will provide the resources to support and enhance the University鈥檚 continued pursuit of educational excellence.

For more information on endowments, please email emckenney@ut.edu .

As a private University, UT depends on the philanthropic support of the community it serves. Because the University cannot be sustained by tuition alone, all donations are greatly appreciated and will be used to continue a tradition of academic excellence.

Resources

Who should I contact with questions about my contribution?
Contact the Office of Development at (813) 253-6220 or send an email to annualfund@ut.edu with any questions about your gift.

How can I support an existing or new Endowment?
If you are interested in supporting an endowment fund or any other specialized gift, please contact the Development Office at (813) 253-6220 so that we can assist.

Can I make an online gift to a program I don't see listed?
Yes, while undesignated gifts are useful because they allow UTampa to meet its most urgent immediate needs, gifts to all areas are appreciated and have a positive impact on our University. Contact the Office of Development at (813) 253-6220 or send an email to annualfund@ut.edu with any questions about your gift.

Are gifts tax deductible?
Absolutely! All gifts to the University of Tampa are tax-deductible. Please note, sometimes if you receive a cool perk (such as a ticket to an event, for example) that has a fair market price and, following IRS policy guidelines, the cost of that ticket is deducted from your total tax-deductible amount.

Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
Yes, UTampa will send you a gift receipt via email for tax purposes.

Is my gift eligible for employer/corporate matching?
Yes. Note that it can take several months for employers' matching funds to reach UTampa. In the event the match does not arrive before the project deadline or the end of the fiscal year, it will still be applied to the same fund.
