Financial Aid uses the cost of attendance to determine eligibility for federal, state and institutional aid programs. Generally, a student’s financial aid award cannot exceed the cost of attendance. See the Financial AidÌýHow to ApplyÌýpage for more information.

Related Policies
Student travel to clinical rotation sites (A3.14j)
Students are responsible for all costs and logistics to travel to and from assigned supervised clinical practice experiences (SCPEs). Clinical sites may be outside daily commuting distance. The program does not reimburse travel, housing, parking, or other related expenses. Students must maintain appropriate insurance, plan for varied schedules (including nights/weekends/holidays), and ensure on-time attendance at all assigned sites.
The University and PA Program are not liable for accidents, tickets, or vehicle issues incurred during travel to/from clinical sites. Transportation problems do not excuse absences or tardiness.
Clinical site & preceptor procurement (A3.08)
All SCPE placements are arranged by the UTampa PA Program. Students are not required and are not permitted to solicit or provide their own clinical sites or preceptors. If a student becomes aware of a potential site, they may submit the lead to the Clinical Education Team for evaluation. Contacting sites directly is not allowed and use is not guaranteed.
